The truth is.. it doesn’t
It doesn’t get easier, but you get stronger!
Physically and mentally!
You push yourself a little bit more
You start to enjoy the feeling of hard work
You start to seek out that uncomfortable place where you know you’re pushing yourself to be better. Pushing your body to change and adapt.
So you push yourself a little more!
You start to respect your body for all it is capable of.
You start to realise you’re capable of much more than you thought.
So you push yourself further still!
You feel your confidence grow with each new accomplishment in the gym.
You then carry that confidence into other areas of your life.
So you continue to push yourself!
You look at how far you’ve come and realise that exercise and being fit and healthy isn’t something you do anymore… it’s part of who you are!
Exercise is now a habit that would be as hard to break as deciding not to brush your teeth each day!
Every workout is still tough. But it’s tough because you make it that way and you wouldn’t want it to be easy!
So no, the workouts don’t get easier. Because you now seek out the challenge and let’s face it, easy is a little bit boring
