Getting in great shape doesn’t have to include complex diets/Carb Cycles/Zero Carb Plans etc etc, some plans are excellent and work like a charm but it doesn’t have to be complicated! Stick to some simple principles and focus on the below foods only and you could be getting envious looks in your swim suit before you can say “Fancy pants diet of the month!”

4. Lean Steak
5. Lean Beef Mince
6. Egg Whites
7. Tuna
8. Fish Fillets
9. Salmon
10. Whey Protein
11. Brown Rice
12. Quinoa
13. Sweet Potato
14. Oat Cakes
15. Oats (Rolled)

(For Vegetarian options substitute meats for Quorn/Tofu/Lentils)

The principles:

• Always include protein and carbs for your breakfast
• Eat 5-6 small meals per day
• Cut the carbs out when sedentary (typically evening meal)
• Make sure you drink 2-3 litres of water per day
• Exercise 3-5 times per week resistance and cardio
• Avoid or cut out completely Alcohol
